Little known fact: God promises to fulfill those who seek His righteousness! Jesus made it very clear that we will be triumphant in our quest for righteousness, through faith in Him, in one of His “Sermon on the Mount”. In Matthew 5 Jesus says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” (NKJV)¹ We WILL be satisfied! And how do we obtain this promised blessing? The answer is so simple and so overlooked, you might even envision one of those imaginary lightbulbs light up above your head. Are you ready for this?

You ask for it! 😲

Isaiah tells us, “He gives power to the weak.” (NKJV)² When we are feeling weak, powerless, discouraged, frustrated or any other of a thousand negative feelings, take it to the One who has control of all things. Who else could we possibly turn to that can actually help us? (If you answered, “No one else”, you are correct!) So pray and ask, “Lord, You have promised us Your righteousness. Please give it to me!” And don’t stop … ask for it continually throughout your day, your week, your month! So don’t stop praying ⏤ God will answer you! ☧
